For strong enough forcing, we observe noisy oscillations characterized by a nonzero average amplitude. We show nonperturbatively that the stochastic bifurcation from an absorbing state to this oscillatory regime occurs when the Lyapunov exponent of the linearized noisy oscillator changes sign. We shall also briefly discuss the anomalous diffusion regimes observed in the limit of weak dissipation.
